Astonishing Richardson St Bathroom Renovation
In this dramatic Williamsburg double-bathroom renovation, our clients envisioned spaces that felt luxurious, elevated, and full of personality. The transformation of both the primary bathroom and the powder room resulted in two distinct yet cohesive environments, each reflecting a refined taste in materials, layout, and finishes. Designed to maximize impact without sacrificing functionality, this renovation is a bold statement in modern bathroom design. The primary bathroom was completely reimagined for an accommodative spa-like experience. We removed the original small tub and replaced it with a large, custom walk-in shower lined entirely in stunning invisible blue marble. This marble continues seamlessly through the floors, walls, and into a built-in shower cove, creating a soothing, immersive environment. The veining of the stone brings natural movement and elegance, offering a calm yet striking visual experience every time you enter the space. To complement the cool tones of the marble, we installed a deep navy vanity with spacious double sinks. This piece anchors the room with a rich pop of color while offering ample storage. Brass fixtures were chosen to add warmth and contrast, enhancing both the functionality and sophistication of the overall bathroom aesthetic. The finishes on the faucets, lighting, and hardware tie together the contemporary palette and give the space a polished, luxurious look. The adjacent powder room received an equally thoughtful transformation. Without moving any existing plumbing—a smart, cost-conscious choice—we were able to dramatically improve the feel and flow of the space. A new half-glass wall was installed to allow light to filter through the room while maintaining spatial separation between the tub and vanity areas. This simple architectural feature makes the compact bathroom feel more open and connected. In contrast to the cooler tones of the primary bathroom, the powder room incorporates warmth through a custom wood-paneled vanity. Its natural grain and clean lines create visual interest while remaining functional and space-efficient. The soaking tub is paired with a sleek handheld nozzle and a rainfall shower head, allowing users to choose between a relaxing soak or a refreshing rinse. This flexibility is ideal for a second bathroom that serves both guests and everyday use. To unify both rooms, we used full brass finishes across fixtures and hardware. This consistent detail carries throughout both bathrooms, creating a harmonious thread between two otherwise unique spaces. The brass complements both the navy vanity in the primary bathroom and the wood elements in the powder room, adding cohesion without repetition. Throughout this Williamsburg double-bathroom renovation, every decision was made to strike a balance between bold design and everyday usability. From material choices like invisible blue marble and warm wood tones to smart spatial solutions like maintaining plumbing locations, the renovation reflects a deep understanding of how good design serves both style and function. The final result is two high-impact bathroom spaces that reflect modern luxury with distinct identities. The primary bathroom feels like a serene retreat, perfect for starting and ending the day in peace, while the powder room offers practical elegance with its compact yet striking layout. These thoughtfully renovated bathrooms now stand as highlights of the home, offering beauty, function, and comfort in equal measure. Whether viewed together or on their own, each bathroom tells a cohesive story of craftsmanship, creativity, and elevated design.

Project Client Testimonial:
“Eli, Mary Kate, and the rest of the team at STAR did a great job on our renovation. We had a large project which involved completely remodeling our kitchen, and bathroom. They worked very hard to complete our job on time, and the final result looks amazing, plus the sound proofing really works well. STAR Renovations was very organized and handled a lot of complex tasks for our job, which required updating the building plumbing, and electrical wiring. They were very accommodating to our unique requests and did many extra favors around our apartment such as fixing our thermostat and installing missing trim. We were pleased with the communication between us, and it was great to get regular updates and progress photos. STAR really did great work for us and we love our new home.”
